Tote Bag in Horsehair Fabric
Linen blend bag with cotton warp (60%) and horsehair (40%), hand woven. The horsehair yarn crosses the natural fibers creating a dense pattern of "leopard spots" which, by reflecting the light, create a special shantung effect. The fabric is matched with soft, dark brown, full-grain deerskin (1.1-1.3 mm thick) from the historic Vicenza tanneries. Equipped with convenient pockets and a side key holder, the inside of the bag is fully lined in pure iridescent silk, signed by the designer Romeo Gigli for Rubelli Venezia. Gold magnetic closure with polished finish.
