Michela Bortolozzi is a Venetian designer born in the Lagoon in 1986 and has always been passionate about travel. After graduating from the IUAV University of Architecture in Venice, you studied and worked in Morocco, Palestine and South Africa. In each city she created objects in collaboration with local artisans, and this is what led her to her current main project: Eat and Run. The Artisan has decided to return to Venice and tell the stories she has learned and lived through her works, and in early 2020 she opened her studio in Cannaregio, where she divides her time between his work as a designer and as a teacher of sculpture. The shop is called Eat&Run to remind you how NOT to experience Venice. Michela Bortolozzi's work is made entirely of local, sustainable products and renewable materials. She sculpts candles into recreations of famous Venetian architectural designs, a series of products she calls "Relight Venice." She also produces and sells "architectural" lollipops and is part of a movement that wants to promote and support local crafts in Venice.
