La Perla Nera is a store in Venice where Paola Bertoldo's creativity and design are combined with the beauty of original Murano glass and precious metals, such as crystal, silver and gold, rooted in the ancient art of the "impiraresse de fin" (creator of jewelry with pearls). The result is unique creations made entirely by hand with the highest quality and care. The "La Perla Nera" universe mainly consists of necklaces and earrings but also some wearable "jewel masterpieces" and small design accessories. Paola Bertoldo is part of the Association of Glass Craftsmen and carries on the technique acquired by her mother with the hope of being able to pass it on to future generations.
