The artisan company Muffato deals with marble and granite works for the construction sector and for the funerary art: it is not by chance that the workshop is located just in front of the vaporetto that leads to the island of San Michele. The company also creates objects and furnishing accessories typical of the Venetian artistic tradition such as reproductions of the lion of San Marco, the symbol of the city, buttons for bells in various shapes and sizes, pestles and "pattare" (friezes, normally circular, typically placed on the facades of Venetian houses). They have a wide production of bas-reliefs, sculptures, high-reliefs and statues of various sizes and shapes. They have been a point of reference for years for the houses and monuments of historic cities like Venice,  Marmi e Graniti Muffato also performs restoration services on existing artifacts in order to polish and restore value to various types of furniture.
